Examining the manifestations and effects of climate change is critically dependent on spatiotemporal analysis meteorological variables, particularly in areas where agriculture depends rainfall. The present study analyses temperature rainfall using Mann-Kendall Sen's slope estimator also identifies variations by Rainfall Anomaly Index (RAI). main purpose this to assess variation climatic variable (temperature rainfall) across regions Maharashtra over 50 years (1968-2017) which might be helpful identify strategies that can aid addressing consequences extreme events future formulating appropriate region-specific strategies. trend series for kharif rabi season revealed a significant increasing maximum minimum temperature, however nonsignificant decreasing RAI value indicates relatively greater number dry periods Marathwada Vidarbha region comparison Konkan, Western Khandesh. findings useful developing plans manage water resources effectively reduce adverse impacts droughts basically regions.
